GotchaMath support
A quick guide for students and the parents who support them.
Quick guide
- Start with a problem. Enter or choose a Grades 4–6 math problem to explore.
- Build understanding. Review the visual, step-by-step lesson and the ideas behind the method or formula.
- Practice the skill. Work through related questions, then review checked answers and mistakes.
- Keep what helps. Review suggested concepts and choose what to save in the Knowledge map.
Some assisted features require a compatible AI app and sign-in managed by a parent. Use of those providers may require internet access. The Mac installer is available from the home page.
Before you begin
GotchaMath is being developed for macOS 14 or later, for one student on a Mac. Lessons, Library search, and practice are designed to work offline after relevant content is available on the device.
License activation and moving Macs
You can save any two problems free, including samples. Reopening a saved problem costs no allowance. Importing, exporting, and deleting saved learning require a license.
After purchasing, find your license key in your Polar confirmation or customer portal using your purchase email address. In GotchaMath, open Settings → Manage license, paste the key, and choose Enter license. Activation requires internet access. Returning from checkout alone does not unlock the app.
Use Check license to retry a check. Recently validated paid access lasts offline for at most seven days and never past a known expiry. A confirmed invalid or revoked license removes paid access.
Before moving to another Mac or changing keys, choose Deactivate this Mac. If your device limit is reached and the old Mac is unavailable, contact support with your order reference.
